BAKUNAWA FEST 8 (called BAKUNAWA Young Cinema during the 8th edition) opened Dec. 26, 2021 and was extended up to Feb 15, 2022 by request of teachers and students. All our films are shown for free via Bakunawa Vimeo On Demand Channel. Audiences use promo code BAKUNAWA8. During the 8th edition all festival screenings & premieres start at 8:00 PM (Philippine Standard Time) / 7 AM ET.  In our continued film literacy advocacy, we give free lectures and free guestings to online classes. In 2021, we concentrated on screenings and did not pursue zoom talks and workshops. Instead, the festival is preparing a digital print Q&A with selected filmmakers.
