BAKUNAWA FESTIVAL
Award Winners
The BAKUNAWA Winners are from its annual film camp of first time filmmakers. From first to third editions, winners were determined by an appointed Board of Jury with a side award by film camp mentors called "Instructors' Choices" which was later named "Filmmakers' Choices" because all mentors are filmmakers. The fourth and fifth editions only handed out specific citations rather than the usual awards while the sixth edition went back to the usual awards categories. From its seventh edition to the present, the festival agreed to hand out specific citations/awards for deserving films.

Unlike in the past three Bakunawa, the fourth edition of its film camp and film festival will not declare nominees and winners. Instead, the jury and resource persons have selected three films to be cited and to be sent to Cinema Rehiyon 9 as representatives of Bakunawa Cinema of the Young. The cited films are:
